Let’s talk Contemporary Furniture – Sept 22nd

When Ken Stone and I chaired the Furniture Society Conference here at MIT in 2010, we worked with Gail Fredell to create a book intended to be an overview of the contemporary furniture landscape in the US.  On Tuesday September 22nd, I’ll be talking about the subject, the book, and the furniture that is being made in the US today.

Bart Niswonger – Mineck Fellow 2011

I always like to share my passion about contemporary furniture, so join me for this special after-work event.

The Society of Arts and Crafts is hosting the free event  – from 5pm to 6:30pm at their exhibition space at 175 Newbury Street in Boston.

Please RSVP here so the people at the SAC know how much wine to pour!

Hope to see you there for an engaging conversation about furniture, contemporary craft and the book.

-Richard
