I like to make the commission process an enjoyable experience for my customers, sharing new insights into design, concept, and making. My custom commission process generally takes the following path:

1. I like to first meet with my client at his or her place of residence to gain a better understanding of the client’s expectations, the budget, any constraints, and the overall space.
2. The next step is to turn the detail of the project into actionable plans. Once this stage is complete, I will have the plans for the piece completely developed and will be able to formalize the costs and timeline.
3. Once I receive a deposit and we agree upon the timeline, I begin to craft your custom piece. I encourage my clients to visit my workshop frequently to view the process.
